The owners, Julie and Graham, were so helpful and there were loads of information booklets etc to hand. The location is so handy for Kendal, literally a few minutes drive, but also for reaching attractions like Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top and Wordsworth's at Dove Cottage in Grasmere and, of course, the lakes and the scenery.

We enjoyed our time at Hollins farm barn the barn was lovely and comfortable well equipped Julie and Graham were lovely people very helpful shame the weather wasnât great the second part of the week the location was quite and not too far from places thanks again for a lovely week Rita & Bobby

The owner was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the property and explained a few things. Plenty of information folders about the area and local amenities, of which we used a few! Only drawback we could see that there was no washing machine, which may prove useful if you do a lot of walking, otherwise outstanding!
