Grizebeck is set in pretty countryside and superb for those wanting to spend some time away from it all. In the village there is a pub serving local brews and evening meals , the local garage has a small shop ideal for essentials. A few minutes’ drive takes you to the village of Kirkby-in-Furness which is home to a general store and two pubs as well as a railway station. East of Kirkby-in-Furness takes you to the market town of Ulverston, which is well known for its street markets and festivals at different times of the year. A few minutes’ drive will also take you to Broughton-in-Furness which has three pubs, Beswicks Restaurant, a bakery, two cafés, deli, butchers, Post Office and Tourist Information. Coniston is a 20 minute drive and Windermere is 25 minutes' drive away if you want to take part in some Lakeland activities. Grizebeck is ideally placed for visiting a variety of the Lake District attractions including the South Lakes Animal Park near Dalton, Dalton Castle, Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass Railway.
