Enjoying a spectacular location set within a Grade II listed building and with the Lake District National Park right on your doorstep, The Violet Suite is a truly unique getaway for couples or a family of five. Upon arrival you will be greeted by two designated off-road parking spaces, before stepping into the remarkable Gothic entrance hall to make your way up to your new abode. Be welcomed into the contemporary open-plan living space, featuring all you will need to enjoy a memorable self-catered stay, including a welcome hamper with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Look forward to impressing your loved ones with delicious meals, prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen, featuring quartz work tops and high-quality in-built appliances, including a wine cooler, coffee machine and washer dryer for your convenience. Gather your loved ones around the large live-edge dining table where you can savour a delicious meal together over your favourite bottle of wine as you recount the days adventures. After dinner, make your way through to the light and airy sitting room, with tall sash windows framing north and south-facing views of the formal gardens, where you can relax on the large slump down corner sofa and enjoy an evening of entertainment, courtesy of the large Smart TV. After a day of exploring the Lake District National Park, indulge in a soothing soak in the bath or freshen up in the large walk-in shower, whilst your towel stays warm on the heated towel rail. Traditional market town Ulverston is built around a cobbled central street.

You'll find a wide range of independent stores, coffee shops, and pubs here, many of which feature open fires and real ales. For those who prefer fine dining to pub fare, there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. At Ulverston's Dickensian Christmas Festival in late November, in addition to its reputation as a festival town, you'll find everything from flag walks and art and music festivals. It's the hometown of Stan Laurel and the site of the world's largest foam pie fight, giving visitors a taste of this friendly, family-oriented community. The town and surrounding countryside offer many opportunities for leisurely strolls, and from here you can see the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. There's a lovely pub at the end of the shortest, deepest, and widest canal, which makes for a lovely afternoon stroll and offers views of the bay. The National Park's attractions can also be easily accessed.

Sand beaches and excellent birdwatching await visitors to the Furness Coast. In addition to the South Lakes Wild Animal Park and Lakes Windermere and Coniston, the Birkrigg Common area is a popular destination for families with its stunning views of Morecambe Bay.
