Settled in the small village of Fence, Lancashire, is this semi-detached, family-friendly house, The Old Post Office. Set above the former village post office, now an ironing shop run by the holiday home owner, this lovely abode is a great base for a family of four or couples, with the Forest of Bowland AONB and the Yorkshire Dales nearby, and off-road parking, contemporary amenities, and an enclosed, private garden. Climb the stone steps, kick off your boots in the hallway, and make yourself at home in the living/dining room. A sociable space for dining and relaxing by the warmth of the electric fire, you'll find a dining table for four, two plush armchairs, and a wall-mounted TV. The well-equipped, contemporary kitchen is just next door with everything you need for a self-catering stay, including an electric oven and grill, gas hob, washer/dryer and dishwasher. After dinner, head upstairs to find the beautifully furnished sitting room with a cushioned sofa, two Chesterfield armchairs, and a TV for entertainment, plus a second electric fire.
