The interesting and individual shops and cafes of Kirkby Lonsdale are just a couple of minutes’ walk away through quaint cobbled yards. There is a lovely park close by, sitting on the banks of the River Lune with the beautiful Devil’s Bridge, easy to enjoy without ever moving your car. For a perfect day trip, why not head into the Yorkshire Dales and explore the White Scar Caves at Ingleton and then pop over to Hawes to enjoy afternoon tea?
