The bathrooms are a quite small but well provided with shelves and nooks for storage. It is good that the heating can be set by the visitor to suit their own needs with the quick spurt of heat provided by the electric fire. We were disconcerted when the water went off but the owner quickly arranged for the on site plumber to visit - nothing to do with this property, the builders on the adjacent site had turned off the supply! Otherwise a good week. Steve

Luxurious lodge with all mod-cons including an air fryer and slow cooker. Welcome pack on arrival which lasted us throughout our visit, love the doggy treats as well. Lodge is spotlessly clean. Brought my Mum on holiday with us and she loved it - she said it is the best holiday accommodation she has stayed in. Will definitely be returning again next year.

It was extremely warm and comfortable and fitted out to a very high standard. My only recommendation if at all possible would be to fence across to the opposite Lodge front and rear so that your dog could be let into the grassed area without fear of them wandering off. My only complaint from our stay is the tree at the rear needs to have the branches trimmed off. The Sunday night of our holiday was extremely windy and the branches although only small were very loud on the roof top, so much so that it sounded as if the decking furniture was being moved about.
