A bustling town in the centre of England, commonly referred to as Barlick, is proud of its manufacturing heritage, which spans from a significant textile sector to the production of modern aircraft engines at the Rolls Royce factory. The town is traversed by Pennine cycling and bridleways, and the magnificent summit section of the Leeds & Liverpool canal meanders past the town and its bustling port. The Shepherds Hut luxurious, the views amazing, our hosts welcoming, the peace only broken by the odd bleat of a lamb floating on the wind.

Beautiful and clean. Cosy and warm. Everything you could possibly need included. Welcome treats abd beverages. Fresh flowers. Alison and John such lovely hosts , not intrusive in anyway, but there for you if you need them . We had some lovely walks, and nights outside with the log burner and esse grill to roast your food on. Weber bbq also available. John has made a lovely cosy hut outside with fairy lights to sit and keep dry and warm in. The surrounding landscape is stunning Alison you have the knack of providing them little touches ... possibly the best place we have stayed..breath of fresh air. Thankyou to you both xx
