Other vibrant towns and cities are within easy reach, whether that's by car or train from Clitheroe's local station, including the industrial town of Blackburn to wander around the Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, the majestic cathedral or catch a show at the Empire Theatre! Turton and Entwistle Reservoir is a popular attraction just south of the town to stroll around the wooded shoreline and spot the local wildlife, before savouring a well-earned meal at the nearby country pub, Strawbury Duck. Venture further afield to Preston for an abundance of shops, eateries, galleries, and cinemas to entertain the whole group, or head to Manchester where you'll be spoilt for choice, where you can soak up culture in one of the many museums or galleries, take a stroll along the canal to admire the juxtaposing architecture and head to the popular Northern Quarter for an abundance of independent cafés, shops and bars. The kitchen cuttlery was very dirty and meat remenents still on the chopping board. The small outside space at the back was dirty and unswept. There was no iron or ironing board on the premises.

Lovely village- Waddington nearby worth a visit. The property is clean enough and comfortable but the was no vacuum cleaner or Iron provided it didn't bother me but it might others, especially if your clothes are really creased or you need to vacuum the floor. Outside yard needs sprucing up, a coat of paint, a few baskets and flower pots might cheer the place, I pulled the weeds out and bought some flowers to make the place looking a bit better, it was really depressing before when I sat there reading.
