The lodge was warm and comfortable, with a cosy lounge, and large kitchen come dining area. Set in a very peaceful garden, with birdsong and wildlife. It provides an ideal base, for visiting the area, and we spent most days at WWT Martin Mere. There was only one day, lost to the weather, and we had the opportunity to meet up with friends.

The owners were very helpful and were nearby for any problems. We visited Southport and Blackpool whilst staying in the lodge. Would definitely recommend this accomadation for any holiday or short break.
Pauline
