Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like wine and biscuits, though these are not guaranteed. The property is ideal for couples and dog owners, with easy access to trails and local attractions. Some minor maintenance issues and additional kitchen utensils are suggested for an even better stay.
Guests consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and bedding. One review noted a mouldy shower curtain, but this seems an isolated incident against the backdrop of overall excellent cleanliness.
The location is frequently described as picturesque, tranquil, and ideal for walking and cycling. Its proximity to local attractions and the Tissington Trail adds to its appeal. The village of Tissington is particularly noted for its beauty.
The property is often described as cosy and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and furniture. A few guests mentioned a desire for better lighting for reading and a more comfortable shower experience.
While the property is well-equipped and guests are generally happy with the facilities, there are several mentions of minor maintenance issues such as dripping taps and the need for more kitchen utensils. These small issues prevent a higher score.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures such as fresh flowers, wine, and biscuits upon arrival. It is important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
