Guests consistently praise Farley Meadow View for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and excellent location in Matlock. The property's facilities, including a games room and hot tub, are highlights, contributing to its suitability for family gatherings and special occasions. The comfortable accommodations and modern amenities have led to high recommendations from previous visitors.
Reviews frequently mention the property's cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained throughout. The consistent praise suggests guests are very satisfied with this aspect.
The property's location in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales is described as good and convenient, with lovely views and proximity to local beauty spots. One review suggests caution for those with mobility issues due to a hill.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the property spacious and the beds comfortable. The presence of multiple bathrooms and various bed configurations has been appreciated by large groups.
Facilities like the games room, hot tub, and fully equipped kitchen are well-received. However, a mention of the need for improvements, such as locks on toilet doors, slightly lowers the score.
While guests have expressed gratitude for the efforts made by the owners, such as Christmas decorations, there is no consistent mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The kitchen appliances (fridge freezer and dishwasher) were less than adequate for the amount of people able to stay at the accommodation. Crockery was of poor quality, and a poor selection of cooking utensils. The bbq was covered in mould therefore not able to be used. The downstairs bathrooms had no mirrors. Insufficient amount of toilet rolls were provided. The hot tub was good as was the location of the property. The games room had a good selection of games but one pool que was broken, and better lighting was needed for the darts area. Although we had a wonderful time, we won't be returning.

The house was perfect with plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen to feed the family. Set in a lovely private road, very quiet with lovely views. A lovely walk in the Darwin Forrest with the children to let off steam . The games room was a plus and was used by everyone as was the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

House spacious and clean. Hospitality excellent. Stuart was quick to respond to any problems/concerns that we had during our stay. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A information pack would have been beneficial about the house and surroundings. Would definitely recommend this stunning house to others. Due to the hill I would recommend walking down to Matlock but getting a taxi for the return journey. Thank you. Claire Stayed 30th August - 2nd Sept.
