Wirksworth 4.4 miles. Nestled in between the bustling market towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell, this charming end-terrace stone cottage rests in the village of Brassington, in Derbyshire. Benefitting from stunning views across the rolling fields, this property is the perfect choice for friends and families. The open-plan living space has been individually styled with all contemporary furnishings and a lovely purple and grey colour scheme, which adds some character to the room. The cottage boasts an oak fitted kitchen with all the necessary appliances for preparing some delicious meals, whilst the large dining table provides all the space you could need for a family gathering. The bedrooms are arranged over two floors and are set up as a king-size and twin on each floor, making it ideal for families. Each bedroom has been fitted with a selection of wooden chest of drawers and bedside tables for storing your personal belongings. There is a first-floor snug area, ideal for getting some quiet time to read a good book. Discover a gleaming bathroom and shower room to prepare for your day in style.     (7 adults, one infant school child and a toddler). It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a lovely big lounge and dining area gave plenty of space for socialising. Garden very small, but as we had poor weather it didn't affect us and there were chairs available for sitting outside. A most enjoyable stay. We would have found a second set of house keys useful as we did spend some time going up and down the stairs to retrieve the keys from either the back or front door, when in the property.

    Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans, good sized lounge area for eight, with large smart TV, excellent Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. No mobile phone signal, but you cannot blame the owners for that, so just use the Wi-Fi until you leave the valley of the village. Overall, a very enjoyable extended family stay for the eight of us..
