A wonderful cottage with style, character and lots of space in a beautiful village.

Brimming with style and character, located in the beautiful limestone village of Monyash is Monyash Barn - a wonderful barn conversion. A very popular holiday retreat, with a modern kitchen, dining room and a spacious and unique lounge, complete with an electric coal effect stove. Admire the pretty as a picture spiral staircase that leads up to the four comfortable, nicely decorated bedrooms and the slick modern bathroom. 

Wake up and sit in the peaceful garden with your morning cuppa and get ready to plan your day, with the only issue being where to visit first. Have a mooch about the village and explore the local tea rooms and pub, whilst absorbing the amazing views of the Peak District. Hop in the car and within a few minutes you’ll be in Bakewell famous for its Pudding, Chatsworth House's adventure playground which the kids will love, or wander around historic Haddon Hall. Peak Rail’s steam trains are an exciting experience or grab a bike and have a cycle around one of the breath-taking cycle trails in the Peaks. Matlock’s cable cars and Crich’s Tramway Museum aren’t too far, along with Buxton’s go-karting and Castleton’s spooky caverns. There is something for everyone.

    The cottage was perfect for our long weekend. There was an individual bed for everyone and the facilities were very good. Everywhere was very clean and tidy, we had a fantastic time. The close proximity of the pub made catering very easy.

    A really lovely cottage in a great location. Great for our group of 7. Very well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely Bathroom and great to have an extra shower down stairs. The Housekeeper was friendly and welcoming and gave us useful info.

    Amazing property.. beautifully appointed and very cosy.. everything you could ever want from a weekend bolthole.. even had a tea room 2 doors down, to make up for the pub being shut this week.. spotlessly clean too and would definitely return..
