The cottage itself was charming and well maintained, the excellent shower was very much appreciated after a day of walking! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

The cottage was cosy and clean. The kitchen was a good size with plenty of utensils. Our bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable with a good sized walk in wardrobe. The central heating was easy to use. Unfortunately the outdoor brush was broken at the back, and the garden needs some TLC. The towels were clean but well worn and need replacing. Overall we liked it.

Cottage had everything we needed and was very cosy. Good location for exploring the peaks and we found most of the time we could park nearby. One of the main lights in the kitchen seems to be broken which makes washing up a bit dark. Sykes were terrible to communicate with and I'd avoid booking with them again. You can't call them beforehand. So had to go through Whatsapp where it mainly seemed to be AI trying to end the chat. I wanted to check the size of cot - as it said there wasn't a mattress so I therefore needed to bring one. I couldnt get a reply till 12 days later on the day we were leaving. Then they came back to me but told me the wrong dimensions! I think they must have just made it up.
