Beech Farm Barns consist of two stunning barns, Swallows Nest and The Old Hen Shed. Once a part of the village farm, these beautiful barn conversions have been lovingly renovated to include all of the home comforts you would expect, whilst retaining their rural countryside heritage and charm. Stylish interiors have been seamlessly blended with the exposed beams and bespoke items sourced from the local carpenter.
Swallows Nest welcomes you into the bright and airy kitchen, well-equipped and with ample space to create your favourite dish, or to try your hand at a new recipe. With a breakfast table and sit-up bar to enjoy a coffee in solitude whilst the house awakens around you, or spend a Sunday afternoon baking with the little ones. In addition, for more formal dining, the beautiful dining room awaits with french doors leading into the rear garden, the dining room is bathed in natural light and is the perfect place to host a celebratory meal with the family. There is also a utility room with a wine fridge and washing machine, and a cloakroom, leading off from the dining room. Retire to the cosy sitting room, with comfy seating for all and an electric living flame fire, ideal for curling up in-front of and enjoying family movie-night. The sitting room oozes modern day style, mixed with timeless features, such as the beautiful exposed wooden beams.
Upstairs in Swallows Nest are three tastefully furnished bedrooms, all of which offer cloud-like beds, ready for the perfect night's sleep after a day spent exploring the Peak District. Bedroom one has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with a beautiful walk-in shower; bedroom two also provides a king-size bed; and bedroom three is perfect for little ones with single bunk beds. Bedrooms two and three are served by the family bathroom, which offers a bath and an over-head shower attachment.
Next door, The Old Hen Shed welcomes you into the beautiful open-plan kitchen and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen is a spacious and homely area, equipped for even the keenest of chefs, and is the perfect place to cook up your favourite meal or spend an afternoon baking with the little ones. The kitchen boasts a Nespresso coffee machine too, so you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee in solitude, whilst the house awakens around you. The dining area is a bright and airy space, with ample space for big celebrations or intimate dinners together. Stone steps lead down into the cosy sitting room, that offers a sumptuous velvet sofa and a cosy electric wood burning stove, so you can curl up together in front of the Smart television and watch your favourite movie, or relax and read a book. The large french doors lead out to the rear garden and offer uninterrupted views of the Peak District countryside. There is also a utility room and cloakroom downstairs too.
Upstairs are two well-appointed and stylish bedrooms, both of which enjoy an en-suite bath or shower room. The principle bedroom offers a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom; whilst the second bedroom has a zip and link king-size bed that can be configured as twin singles if required, along with an en-suite shower room.
Heading outside, both properties enjoy a south-facing front patio area with ample garden furniture, perfect for alfresco dining, or enjoying an evening tipple whilst admiring the beautiful views. To the rear of the properties are lawned garden areas, ideal for the children to explore and play whilst the grown-ups relax on the comfortable garden furniture or fire up the barbecue.
Beech Farm Barns guests have access to private off-road parking for up to five cars and there is also a secure bicycle storage area, for those wanting to make the most of the local cycling routes.
Located in the quaint village of Taddington in the Peak District National Park, the wonders of Derbyshire are on your doorstep. Take advantage of the bus routes to local towns such as Bakewell and Buxton with an abundance of boutique shops and pretty cafes, or step out of the front doors of Beech Farm Barns and head on an adventure via one of the many walking and cycling routes. The local village pub, the Queen's Arms is only a short walk away too and serves delicious food and local ales.

There is off-road parking for five cars.
