We have hiked, open water dipped at 3 shires head and hired e-bikes on the monsal trail . Lots to do within a short distance . Buxton itself is lovely with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants aswell as local walks if you don’t want to use the car . We visited the local pub several times on an evening . The nineteenth hole which was a 5 min walk away . The locals and landlady were friendly and we spent time chatting in there and sat in the rear courtyard. The pub is also dog friendly

Spacious rooms with a cozy feel, kitchen was great. Hot tub very welcoming after long walks exploring the peaks. Buddy and Daisy were best friends instantly !! both being border collies. All in all a perfect set up for a relaxing holiday. Certainly book again. John Ange Sam & Buddy.

Beautiful kitchen, comfortable settee and comfortable beds. Very clean. Very well equipped. Ideally located in a quiet spot for you to travel into Buxton, or any of the surrounding towns, Castleton, Bakewell etc. Parking is tight with a larger car, but not impossible and at least there is parking available. Neighbour was very friendly as was Daisy the dog.
