Grab your walking boots or hop on your bike and get ready for some incredible scenery – this gorgeous cottage has idyllic views and is in the perfect location for discovering the unparalleled beauty of the Peak District National Park. Families or groups of friends can relax in its spacious and stylish rooms, enjoying en-suite facilities to all three bedrooms.
One of three properties tucked within a Victorian walled garden, this enticing cottage features a long run of windows that create a wonderfully sunny interior. Natural textures of timber, stone and rattan echo the landscape outside, while wooden floors, latched doors and beamed ceilings add charming character. Step through the front door and into the galley-style kitchen/diner, with its array of cupboards and appliances, including a handy dishwasher. The bright and spacious lounge, with a soaring ceiling, enjoys glorious views and has a selection of comfortable sofas as well as a TV/DVD for entertainment. The three generously sized bedrooms all have ample storage, en-suites and beautiful beds and linens. The outside space includes a patio for your own use (adjacent to the neighbouring patio) that boasts dining furniture, a BBQ and a fire pit. Enjoy the shared gardens or, to admire the incredible views over Cressbrook Dale, take your morning coffee or an aperitif to the shared picnic bench.
The cottage is tucked between Buxton and Bakewell, both 9 miles away, at the point where Millers Dale turns into Monsal Dale. Walking and cycling trails are to be found on your doorstep, including the Tissington Trail, High Peak Trail, and the Monsal Trail. And there’s no shortage of historic houses to visit nearby, including Eyam Hall, 5.5 miles, Chatsworth House, 8 miles and Haddon Hall, 10 miles.
