Guests are charmed by the Wye Apartment's idyllic setting in an old cotton mill, appreciating its spaciousness and the immediate access to stunning walks. The location is peaceful, with wildlife and a local pub within walking distance. While some guests mentioned minor issues, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The apartment generally receives praise for its cleanliness, but there are comments about dog hairs and a dog smell in some areas, as well as some surfaces not being perfectly clean. Regular professional cleaning, especially due to pet allowance, could improve impressions.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to nature and walking trails. The convenience of nearby amenities and the historical charm of the mill contribute to the high rating.
Comfort is well-regarded with the apartment being spacious and well-equipped. However, some guests noted the mattresses and sofa could be more comfortable, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are generally appreciated, with the apartment being well-equipped for a pleasant stay. Some minor maintenance issues like a difficult lock and a problematic bath tap were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
Guests mentioned personal touches such as a welcome pack and a toy box, which added to their stay. While these gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that such extras are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every visit.

The accommodation is very nice, in a lovely location. Quiet and convenient for all of our needs. Walks from the door were excellent. Monsal Trail is just 5 minutes away, albeit up a steepish path that wouldn't suit some people, and the trail can get very busy on bank holidays and weekends. The walk along the river Wye to Cressbrook and Water-cum-Jolly is delightful. Altogether a most enjoyable week and highly recommended.

The very creaky flooring in the hallway was the only concern for us, as we were worried about disturbing other residents when moving about, especially in the early morning when we took the dog for a walk. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was very comfortable.

It was a perfect location and accommodation for us and our dog. Small negatives include a settee which had lost its bounce and a bath tap which soaked you and the floor when switched on full. Entry to the Mill was challenging initially. However, none of these spoilt our stay.
