For those who enjoy walking in beautiful countryside, you could not ask for more lovely routes than those to both Edale and Castleton, with its ever-popular Blue John caves. Alternatively, for cycling enthusiasts, the Tissington Trail takes in the wonderful views of the Peak District National Park and the spa town of Buxton is also within easy reach. The lovely rolling countryside of the Peak District National Park is home to the small hamlet of Sparrowpit. The hamlet is made up of a number of pretty cottages, and also has a village hall. This region of the Peaks is distinctly rural, and as such makes a great base for walking, climbing, caving or simply relaxing. Visit Castleton Caves, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers or Chatsworth House, stopping on the way to explore the quaint villages and market towns of this lovely area.

There's no footpath or street lights along either side of the road, which links the A6 and the hamlet of Sparrowpit, where a local farm shop is situated 0.8 mile away.

The cottage was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Extremely well placed for travelling around the stunning Peak District and local shops a short drive away. Thank you to Brian who was a great host , made us laugh and made us feel part of the community . Would definitely recommend and go back

Plenty of storage space and clear instructions. Owner on site and extremely helpful and friendly - thanks Brian! - especially when we had a small problem with something which was quickly sorted out. Quite close to a main road but we didnât find it disturbing at all Might well go back again, it was so good!
