Kempshill Cottage in Buxton is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location in the Peak District. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy log burners, and the property's charm. The village's welcoming atmosphere and local amenities add to the positive experience, although some guests mention minor issues with low beams and parking.
Guests consistently note the property's exceptional cleanliness, with particular emphasis on the high standards maintained, contributing to a feeling of safety, especially during the Covid19 pandemic.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for its easy access to local pubs, shops, and scenic walks. Its position in the Peak District makes it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.
The comfort of the cottage is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the accommodation cosy. However, some taller guests have mentioned the inconvenience of low beams.
Facilities are generally praised, including the well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options. Some guests suggest minor improvements, such as larger TVs and additional kitchenware, but overall the facilities meet guests' needs.
While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a Christmas tree and welcome treats, there is not enough information to guarantee such gestures for future stays. Therefore, while appreciated, these acts of thoughtfulness cannot be quantified.

The decor is lovely, and the kitchen has everything you would want. The bedrooms have a French feel to them, itâs a shame the second bathroom is downstairs through the dining room and kitchen. Close to lots of walks and we found that the star inn did a brilliant Sunday lunch.
