The Old Hen Shed in Buxton is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped nature, and beautiful furnishings. Its proximity to local attractions and a pub is appreciated, though there is a mention of traffic noise. The property's comfort and attention to detail are noted, and a helpful contact person adds to the positive experience.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'well maintained', indicating a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is celebrated for being close to walks, visitor attractions, and a pub. However, one mention of traffic noise slightly detracts from the perfect score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, noting it was 'really warm in every room' and highlighting the presence of ensuites and a garden, suggesting a high level of comfort.
The property is described as well-equipped with facilities like a coffee machine and ensuites, though one guest noted an issue with missing toiletries, which indicates a small oversight in maintenance.
While the contact person's response to the toiletry oversight was thoughtful, there are no consistent mentions of gifts or special touches in the reviews to accurately score this category.
