For walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, there are numerous trails across the Goyt Valley, Kinder Scout and Edale, and for those seeking something a little more challenging, the beginning of the Pennine Way is nearby. Why not take a trip and explore the four show caves at Castleton: Peak Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern and Blue John Mine. The stunning Chatsworth House, gardens and farm shop is 16.5 miles away and also worth a visit. And, the popular towns of Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock and Ashbourne are within easy reach from the property. Heading into the shared mature gardens, there is a seating area with BBQ next to a babbling stream. Off road parking is provided for one car on a level gravel driveway within the gated area.
