We stayed a week and had a very comfortable stay despite some rain at times. Itâs in a lovely village in a great location to explore the surrounding areas of Derbyshire. The extra little touches the owner had left were a welcome surprise. It was cosy and warm especially the evenings we lit the open fire. The bed was very comfortable and lots of storage space in the bedroom. We took advantage of the trails into the hills from the cottage and also walked further afield into the hills surrounding Edale, Monsal Head and Bakewell. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you.

The cottage is a delight, clean homely and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. There are two pubs that serve food in the village, we ate twice at the old bowling green inn, and the food was lovely. There is a large co-op within walking distance which is handy for food shopping. The surrounding area spoils you for choice when it comes to scenic walks. We have already rebooked. Thanks Katrina for the generous welcome gifts and for providing such wonderful holiday accommodation.
