Most guests found Springwood Cottage to be clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few reports of damp smells and a mouldy washing machine slightly affect the overall impression.
The cottage's location is generally praised for its proximity to local amenities and attractions in the Peak District. Some guests noted the convenience of nearby shops and pubs. However, comments about noise from a busy road and parking challenges slightly lower the score.

The cottage is equipped with modern facilities that guests find satisfactory, including a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. However, there are mentions of maintenance issues such as a non-working hob ring, lack of an extractor fan, and a TV not connected to an aerial, which suggest room for improvement.
