Guests say

Guests are delighted with the cottage's serene location, comfortable amenities, and the warm welcome from the property manager, Lyndsay. The hot tub, sauna, and pizza oven are frequently praised, enhancing the stay. The property's cleanliness and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, contribute to a highly recommended experience, despite minor feedback on Wi-Fi and maintenance.

The property generally receives high praise for cleanliness, with guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained. However, a few guests noted issues with kitchen cleanliness and dead insects on window ledges, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly appreciated for its tranquility, beautiful surroundings, and proximity to local walks and reservoirs. The remote setting is seen as a positive aspect, although the hilly terrain may be challenging for some.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm, with underfloor heating mentioned positively. The shepherd's hut and main bedroom are particularly noted for comfort, though some guests mention the mezzanine and lounge areas could be cramped for larger groups.

Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and pizza oven are highlights, but there are comments on the hot tub taking time to heat and the sauna having holes. The well-equipped kitchen is a plus, yet some guests reported issues with appliances and suggested that the BBQ needs replacing.

The thoughtfulness of the host and the welcome pack are frequently mentioned and appreciated. Guests feel well-cared for, though it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We especially enjoyed the garden, hot tub and sauna. Only downfall was the cooker took forever to warm up so cooking a meal took double the time it should. Loved the welcome hamper and prosecco, a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend this property and would return in the future.
