drive. Some nice walks in the local area. The nearest pub and shop is in Ipstones which is about 2/2.5 miles away, not one mile as stated on the Sykes site. We dropped one star due to the walking distance to Ipstones, and that the cottage can appear a little dull. These are, however, personal points and should not detract from excellent accommodation which is ideal for two people.

The cottage has clearly been refurbished fairly recently to a very high standard and all the interior was very modern. The interior was spotlessly clean and tidy and the central heating was comfortable. We can highly recommend the cottage and would love to stay there in the future.

The public footpaths near by were not used much and had overgrown trees etc, but you could walk the quiet roads. There is also a lovely little village nearby, Froghall, which had a very nice cafe and canal walk.
