For those looking thrill seekers, the well know Revolution Park is located almost on the doorstep of the property and offers superb downhill mountain biking. Brush up on local history by spending an afternoon discovering the nearby National Trust castles; Chirk Castle is a popular tourist destination and known for its 700 year history and beautifully-kept gardens, and Powis Castle, which sits dramatically, towering over its pretty surrounding grounds. Enjoy a scenic drive around the area stopping at the magnificent beaches of the Cambrian Coast for a day at the seaside with with a fish and chip supper. Nearby are Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala, which both offer good fishing and watersports and make a good spot for a picnic. For those who fancy venturing further afield, the attractions of Mid and North Wales, and also Shropshire, await you.
