The house was more spacious then we expected and although their were other families, we felt plenty of privacy. The hot tub is great after a long day of adventuring and the sheep for neighbours was amazing. All the best equipment and a super clean house with a great host too. Iâd recommend everyone visit the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala. If you can manage, Weâd recommend to take the trip to Barmouth Beach and have The Mermaid fish and chips too.

Thank you! There were one or two problems with the shower controls, but I know Huw will fix them quickly (and turn the hot water down several degrees!). Other suggestions: the instructions for turning on the TV are not really that useful - it took us some time to achieve it by accident. What was disappointing was the "shared" games room - which was occupied somewhat noisily 24/7 by the other "sharers". We never got in there at all. Some sound proofing at the door would help one ignore it. I note at least one other similar comment (most of us are not into sharing with strangers when on holiday.) Overall a lovely place to stay and would most certainly recommend (except for the "shared" features!) ps - Evening meals in the Railway in Penybontfawr were excellent as were the Fish and Chips from Eagles in Llanfyllin.

We visited you for the second time. We will come again. If we can make a suggestion, there should be a roof over the jacuzzi because it often rains. Friends also complained about lumpy mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms. There was also no lighter to light the fireplace.
