Attractively styled cottage located one mile to the east of Eastbourne town centre, and just one hundred yards from the seafront and expansive beach.
This terraced cottage makes the perfect place for a family seaside break. Eastbourne s wide shingle beach is just a three minute walk from the property, and there is even a fantastic water sports centre at this end of the beach which gives visitors the chance to try their hand at stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, powerboating, and even raft building! To the west of the property, the town centre has a wide range of shops, an interesting lifeboat museum, and the wonderfully restored Victorian pier which offers a range of food outlets and evening entertainment venues. Princes Park, which is just a few minutes walk from the house, is a fun place to spend an afternoon with its boating lake, formal gardens, play areas, a splashpad, and tennis courts. On arrival at this light, bright cottage, guests first come to the lounge. This generously sized room has two seating areas: one with deep sofas and the TV/DVD, and another area set to one side with comfortable chair, which is great for snuggling up with a book. Continue down the hall into the kitchen/diner, where guests will find a well equipped kitchen, then a step down to the dining area, with seating for six and views through the patio doors into the courtyard garden beyond. The kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is also a convenient cloakroom with WC just off the dining area. Upstairs, the property has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size wrought iron bedstead and large bay window with sea views, with an en suite shower and WC. The second bedroom is a delightful twin room with a seaside theme and attractive feature fireplace, whilst the third bedroom is a restful nautical themed single bedroom. The bathroom, also on the first floor, offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, there is a patio garden to the rear of the property, with a decked seating where the owners have provided garden furniture. This is accessed through patio doors from the kitchen/diner, which makes it easy to enjoy al fresco meals and drinks. There is unrestricted roadside parking just outside the property, subject to availability. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 king size, 1 twin, and 1 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC, downstairs WC. En suite shower room with shower and WC to the king size room. TV/DVD, and iPod dock. Wi Fi included.
