It was very clean, comfortable, cosy, and extremely well equipped. Alan was a very friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host. Thank you for the very useful welcome basket. The cottage is very well placed with just a short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Battle Abbey was an easy walk away and there were many visitor attractions within a 30 or 40 minute drive.

We stayed two weeks there and enjoyed it very much. The garden was perfect to relax. The owner is very friendly and he provided us with coffee, milk and bread on our arriving day. Battle is located well to visit seaside destinations. Thereâs a direct train to London.
