Guests say

Bay Cosy is a well-appreciated holiday cottage in Pevensey, Sussex, praised for its comfort, thoughtful touches, and proximity to the beach. Guests have enjoyed the homely feel, welcome packs, and the property's spaciousness. While some maintenance issues have been noted, the positive aspects and the property's location seem to have contributed to many guests having a pleasant stay.

The property generally received positive remarks on cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy upon arrival. However, some guests mentioned the need to rewash utensils and the presence of remnants from previous guests, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for guests looking to enjoy seaside walks and explore East Sussex.

Many guests found Bay Cosy to live up to its name, offering a comfortable stay with cosy beds and a homely atmosphere. Some discomfort was noted due to lack of curtains in some areas and issues with seating arrangements.

Facilities were adequate for most guests, with special mentions of the welcome pack and kitchen provisions. However, maintenance issues like non-working appliances and exterior appearance have led to a lower score.

Hosts were commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome packs and courtesy items. While these gestures were highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras are a bonus and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Had trouble with the TV loss of signal but may have been due to the heavy rain and windy conditions. A few comments: The on suit shower was scalding hot apparently the cold water not working In mixer. The corkscrew is broken. Would be nice to have egg cups. The main light in living room was not working either bulb blown or electrical fault. A suggestion: Coat rack or coat hooks in hallway. The outdoor light in back garden was not working.

The front of the property was untidy & looked shabby & not like the photo on information.. Back garden area is tiny & again misleading photo on info: Although the back was fenced felt a bit exposed when it was dark due to lack of curtains/ blinds between living room & extension.

Perfect location for the beach which was empty (brilliant) little kiosk a lifesaver. A very spacious bungalow. Ample wardrobe space. A Little sparse on the furnishing for the conservatory just needed a couple more chairs. Shower in the en suite was running at boiling we did report while we were there. Would definitely stay again.
