Our two luxury safari tents nestle into a grassy meadow in the middle of Brocklands Farm. Spaced about 100 metres apart they offer seclusion, peace, comfort and amazing views. Each tent is tastefully furnished and well equipped. Sink into the comfy beds and relish the soft dual-tog duvets after a day exploring the South Downs. Refresh in the bathroom - the wood burning stove provides piping hot water and keeps the cabin beautifully warm. Eco-toiletries are provided. Play games (from the chest) round the range wood-burner in the living area, chat in the gentle light provided by the fairy lights, enjoy a sundowner on the deck while watching the sun go down behind Beacon Hill.

You will only need to bring your clothes and food - everything else is included (that's wood & kindling too). The kitchen is well equipped (including sharp knives) and stocked with basics like salt and pepper, cling film and aluminium foil.

Children love the cabin bed and rope swing. There is room to roam in the meadow, build dens in the wood. Hares and pheasants may come right past your tent, buzzards and red kites soar overhead.

We love our tents! They are attractive and peaceful and even when we are cleaning we find it relaxing. Once they are ready to receive visitors we let out a sigh and leave reluctantly. For me the greatest pleasure is showing guests in and listening to their exclamations of delight. From the cabin bed to the bathroom, the lighting to the bed linen, the supplies to the scenery - guests tell me it is even better than the photos!

This area of the South Downs National Park is particularly beautiful. The South Downs Way is accessible from the farm, as is the Meon Valley Trail. The picturesque village of West Meon boasts an excellent shop and butchers, along with a cafe and the popular Thomas Lord pub.

There are private paths round most of the farm's fields and many other walks to try out. We are within easy reach of Paulton's Park, the Historic Shipyard at Portsmouth, Winchester: the ancient capital of England and so many others. There's a full folder in each tent. Crab fishing at Emsworth is always popular
