Two wc’s on first floor was a minor inconvenience - but only in that elderly parents had to use the smallest bedroom which had very little storage space and led to a few bruised shins. Also, the curtain rail in there had a tendency to come away from the wall - which could lead to future problems. We greatly appreciated the use of the pull-down bed in the study as one family member had to work via laptop in the mornings and this was a very convenient arrangement! Overall, everyone thought it was a very good apartment and very thoughtfully arranged and furnished. (5-year old grandchild on a day-visit rated it as lovely!) The milk, butter, bread, crackers and wine which awaited us were a very welcome surprise and the book of “domestic information” was one of the best we’ve seen. Thank you to the hosts!
