Guests say

Guests frequently praise the Orchard Annexe for its comfortable and warm atmosphere, friendly owners, and beautiful garden with wildlife sightings. The location is appreciated for its proximity to the New Forest and coast, despite some comments about road noise. The property is well-equipped, though some guests noted issues with Wi-Fi and road noise.

The majority of guests found the property to be very clean, with only a single mention of the shower room needing a deeper clean. The cleanliness is consistently highlighted as a positive aspect.

The location is generally well-regarded for its convenience to Lymington, the New Forest, and the coast. However, some guests noted the proximity to a busy road and the lack of direct walks from the property, slightly affecting the score.

Comfort is frequently mentioned positively, with the accommodation described as warm and inviting. A few guests mentioned the beds could be improved, and one suggested additional heating in winter, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally seen as adequate and well-equipped, including the kitchen. However, several guests experienced issues with Wi-Fi and some with TV reception, especially during bad weather, which impacts the score.

While the reviews reflect positive experiences with the hosts and mention a warm welcome, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be consistently expected by future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Just 1 waste bin to put everything in

The owners live next door and were welcoming and handy should we have any issues. It was well equipped but lacked the usual information folder i.e. what to do with rubbish/recycling, code for Wifi (although this was on the shelf that we hadn't noticed) and ideas for shopping/eating out. Would definitely recommend this property though.
