Guests say

Seahorse Lodge in Lymington offers a peaceful stay with comfortable recliner seats and a well-equipped kitchen. The property is clean, new, and the surrounding area is beautiful, making it a great choice for those seeking tranquillity and convenience for family or group holidays.

The lodge generally maintains good standards of cleanliness, though there were isolated reports of leftover items and a smell in one of the en-suites. A prompt maintenance response to issues indicates a commitment to cleanliness.

The location is praised for its quietness and beauty, particularly the nearby Milford on Sea. However, the separation from the main site and the need for a car to access local amenities slightly impacts the convenience.

The lodge offers comfortable seating and is well-received for its peaceful atmosphere. However, comfort is compromised by the quality of the main bed and the lack of an ironing board, which was particularly noted by a group of females.

Facilities within the lodge are adequate, but there are reports of missing items such as a broom, dustpan, brush, and a working vacuum cleaner. The need for passes to access on-site facilities and the lack of clarity regarding the lodge's association with the main site are concerns.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The directions are very poor, needs to be more specific we arrived from Lymington but the directions did not get us there. It needs to be more clear about the restrictions on the park and you are not attached to the main one, it’s very clear when you arrive and laid out in a folder, this would have been useful advice when booking. This did not affect our holiday as we like the quiet nature of the retreat, but feel others maybe not happy, it needs to be clear when booking. The fridge and cupboards were all full of left over items, which meant we had no where to store our things. It felt like we were sharing with other people, rather than this was our home for the week. We catered for the whole week of food and had to leave items on the side as there was no space cupboards. The maintenance team were excellent, we had a problem with hot water, nothing anybody could have foreseen, this was fixed within half an hour with the most excellent customer service. The lodge is lovely as said at the beginning, the area is lovely, we only traveled half an hour a day, sometimes less to visit some excellent places. We had a fantastic holiday, the little bits would have made it superb.

My only negative comment would be the lack of parking with only 1 parking space available for a 6 berth accommodation simply not enough. I needed to park my vehicle over 1/4 of a mile away. Resort was good with a great restaurant and site shop.

The only comment We would like to make is that there was no broom, dustpan and brush and no working vacuum cleaner. Obviously we don't go on holiday just to do " house work " but we do do like to clear up crumbs etc of the kitchen floor when needed and of course a quick spruce up before we leave . Lovely accommodation and a location that we will stay at again !
