All on one level and with a linked soundproof door between two independent accommodations known as East and West; this immaculate holiday rental property is a cleverly designed award winning wood panelled ecobuild, adjacent to a working farm and close the magnificent grounds of Avington House. The surrounding idyllic Itchen Valley countryside is just on your doorstep, making that perfect rural retreat.
Accommodation is very flexible with a bedroom in the East cottage accommodating 3 in either 3 singles or a double and a single; with an adapted wet room adjacent, ideal for those with limited mobility. Four further bedrooms are beautifully decorated with style and luxury. The large living area with log burner in the East Cottage gives access to the lovely open garden and terrace with BBQ for warm nights alfresco dining. A private secluded area also houses a funky Dutch hot tub! The tub is heated with logs so is great fun all year round, rain or shine. The Piggery West, sleeping 3 is adjacent and has its own living area and garden for groups that need a little privacy and some quiet time with a good book.
With Hampshire Country pubs a stone’s throw away, such as the Bush at Ovington and guest membership to Avington Park Golf Course (that gives you reduced green fees) within walking distance, The Piggery Farm Cottages is just perfect for that luxury Hampshire holiday cottage break away from the hustle and bustle of reality.
