Brighstone is a chocolate box Isle of Wight village which has a fabulous blend of beauty, history and charm. It also has the famous 'Village Shop' that sells everything from 7am to 7pm, making this a fantastic base for a family or couple's holiday. Roam the extensive network of footpaths and cycle tracks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the unesco acclaimed Biosphere of the Isle of Wight. Nature surrounds you, so you might visit Brighstone Forest (2.5 miles) or the Tennyson Trail which offers epic coastal views. If a day lazing on the beach is on the cards, then Brighstone Bay, Brook Bay, and Compton Bay are all within 4 miles and are ideal for sandcastle building, surfing and catching rays. Kids will love meeting animals and bouncing on giant pillows at Tapnell Farm Park (5 miles), or stepping into a world of pirates and dinosaurs at Blackgang Chine (7 miles). After a day of exploring, settle into the cosy tavern to tuck into a cosy pub classic.
This cottage is an ideal country retreat in the heart of Brighstone Village 'Conservation Area'. Friendly competitions and indoor fun beckon with some table tennis or a rounds of darts. When you're ready for bed, there are two charming bedrooms both with a double bed and both boasting tranquil colours, with one offering direct access to the garden. Finishing the home is the stylish second shower room.
