Tower Barn Cottage is a Grade II listed, historic, property tucked away in Appley on the outskirts of Ryde on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Just a short stroll from the nearest amenities and a brief walk from Appley beach, this charming property boasts an impressive tower, an enclosed lawned garden, and a collection of contemporary interiors with original features preserved throughout, making it an ideal base for families, friends or couples looking to explore the countless wonders of the nearby Isle of Wight AONB. Step inside Tower Barn Cottage and discover an elegant, well-appointed open-plan living space, exposed wooden beams and brickwork, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen to delight the chosen chef, a dining area for you and your loved ones to enjoy leisurely breakfasts, and a sitting area to kick back and relax in the evenings whilst you watch a film on the Smart TV. When the sun is shining, make your way outside to the enclosed garden and admire the picturesque views that surround the property, or simply get lost in a good book on the outdoor furniture. When the day comes to an end, retire to one of the three bedrooms, choosing between two plush doubles and a sumptuous twin. Ryde, fondly known as "The Gateway to the Island", is the largest town on the Isle of Wight and became popular as a holiday destination in the 1820s. Today, the regular ferry, catamaran and hovercraft services make this lovely resort accessible for all. There’s so much to see and do, catering for all ages and interests within the town and local area including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the 6 miles of super, gently sloping sandy beaches are ideal for bathing. Along the esplanade there are bowling greens, tenpin bowling, putting greens and children’s rides as well as a boating lake and paddling pool. With many other attractions within easy reach, Ryde provides a superb base for touring this picturesque island.
