Guests say

Dunnose Magna is a well-received holiday cottage praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful setting. Guests appreciate the well-stocked kitchen, the ample indoor and outdoor space, and the property's proximity to coastal walks. The garden and views are frequently mentioned as highlights. Some concerns are noted about the access track's condition, but this does not detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning the property being very clean and well-kept, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location is celebrated for its idyllic setting and proximity to coastal paths, although the access track's condition is a recurring concern. The property's peacefulness and the availability of walks are appreciated, but the track's state has affected the ease of access for some guests.

The property is well-equipped, with a few minor suggestions for additional kitchen items. There are mentions of a broken shower and issues with heating, but these are not widespread complaints. The presence of a hair dryer and board games, despite being told otherwise, indicates good facilities overall.

While guests have mentioned a hamper of goodies, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Our host, Tracy, was extremely friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do on the Isle of Wight to suit all the family, particularly our eight year old granddaughter who loved the beaches and our days out to Tapnell Farm Park and Blackgang Chine. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful house in a lovely setting within easy driving distance of many of the island’s attractions.

It is large enough for the whole family to spread out, extremely well equipped and in a wonderful setting. It was lovely to have a beautiful garden for the children to safely play in on the sunny afternoons. This is definitely the best Sykes Cottage we have ever stayed in.
