Guests say

Little Haven is a well-received holiday rental in Shanklin, praised for its prime location close to the beach and town, and its array of amenities including a hot tub and Xbox. Guests appreciate the homely touches and modern appliances, though some noted the need for better mattress comfort. The property's cleanliness and maintenance receive mixed feedback, with most guests enjoying their stay.

Most guests found Little Haven to be very clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about areas that were overlooked. The majority of reviews reflect a high standard of cleanliness, contributing to the positive experiences.

The location of Little Haven is consistently praised for being within easy walking distance to both the beach and the town. Its convenience for exploring the island and proximity to local attractions contribute to its high rating.

While many guests found Little Haven comfortable and homely, there were several remarks about the mattresses being uncomfortable. This suggests that while the property is generally comfortable, there is room for improvement in the sleeping arrangements.

The facilities at Little Haven, including the hot tub, Xbox, and modern appliances, are generally well-received. However, some guests noted issues with maintenance, such as the hot tub jets not working properly and the need for a better BBQ, which slightly lowers the score.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches provided by the owners, such as a welcome pack and a book with instructions for equipment. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such extras are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

The hot tub was fantastic, we really enjoyed using it. The location was great too, close to everything we wanted to do. There were only two things that would need improving - it would have been great if the grass had been cut as it was quite long during our stay. The bed in the main bedroom is awful, I’d highly recommend replacing it. Overall we had a really lovely weeks stay!

Perfect for a family with extra luxury bonuses including a hot tub, good sized garden for football etc. and also TV / Xbox in the spare bedroom making a great children's space during our stay.

Only gripes: the mattress in the main bedroom is so uncomfortable (broken?) and needs replacing. And not the owners fault but the people before us must have had a dog as we were finding dog hair all week. It had everything we needed for our holiday, great garden for the kids to play. The hot tub was lovely in the evening. Walking distance to a beach. Would we come back? If the mattress is replaced then we would!
