Guests appreciate the proximity to beaches and local attractions, including the Ventnor Botanic Gardens. The property is considered cosy and well-suited for couples, though some find it compact. The unique setting and natural beauty of the area contribute to a memorable stay.

Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, while others felt it required a deeper clean before feeling at ease. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to a score above average.

The location is highly praised for its stunning sea views, proximity to the beach, and peaceful surroundings. It is noted as an excellent base for exploring and enjoying local walks, contributing to a high score.

Guests find the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable, but some mention that the furniture and bed could be improved. The compact nature of the cottage is noted, with mixed feelings about the conservatory seating and space. The overall experience is positive, but with room for improvement.

Facilities are generally adequate, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the addition of a games room. However, some guests reported issues with maintenance, such as the shower and BBQ tools, and a lack of clarity regarding the games room availability due to COVID restrictions. These mixed reviews result in a score reflecting satisfactory facilities with some concerns.

There is insufficient information in the reviews to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or welcome packs. While one review mentioned the absence of a welcome pack, there are no consistent comments on this aspect, leading to a null score.

We met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming, he stressed to call if anything was needed. Good size parking space via a lane next to the Botanical Gardens and hand towels, soap and washing up liquid and drying towels provided (which we weren’t expecting). Barbeque and private gravelled yard in a quiet setting- fantastic find

On our arrival the cottage seemed a little small but after a day or so we got used to it with everything you need at hand and the spectacular views of the sea, my wife and I both play table tennis and had many games in the games room. Overall a wonderful holiday.
