8 Munday Cottages in Yarmouth is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the peaceful location and the property's proximity to the ferry. The accommodation is described as spacious and attractive, with a well-kept site. Some concerns were raised about maintenance issues and accessibility features for disabled guests, but overall the property is highly recommended.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting this aspect positively. The attention to cleanliness is evident across the reviews, suggesting a well-maintained property.

The location is generally appreciated for its peacefulness and convenience, particularly its proximity to the Lymington ferry crossing. However, the lack of a play area and inaccuracies in advertised amenities slightly affect the score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with mentions of comfy beds and spacious rooms. The provision of stools for disabled guests and fans for the heat add to the comfort. Some minor suggestions for improvement are noted.

While the property is well-equipped and attractive, there are several mentions of maintenance issues, particularly with the boiler and hot water system. The lack of a play area, despite being advertised, also impacts this score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the owner that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

A good base to go exploring, buses were a great way of getting around, avoiding car parking charges. I would recommend to friends and family.

The site was quiet, though it was out of school holidays. The hot water and heating worked, though the heating thermostat didn't seem to (heating was on or off). Overall we had a lovely week. One of our party is a wheelchair user. We have the following comments on this accessible cottage: good points are a disabled parking space outside and step-free access to the door, level access to the shower and a grab bar. Maybe a drop-down shower seat would help. We brought our own shower stool. The toilets would benefit from either drop-down or fixed rails to aid standing. The shoe cupboard in the corridor takes a lot of room, making getting in or out of the main bedroom very difficult in a manual wheelchair; similarly with the twin room and the table and chairs. Access would be fine with a walking frame. Maybe the cottage description could say there is limited room for a wheelchair. We left a charger behind, and were shocked to see there's a £30 charge to post items, so will buy a new one.

On the second last day there was no hot water at all. The owner arranged for a heating engineer to call but be could not repair the boiler so we had to boil a kettle every time we needed to wash etc.
