The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings. Yarmouth's narrow streets are home to an array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry viii's castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling and walking to be had along the coastal path, or why not take an energetic stroll across to the nearby Tennyson Down? Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, and is ideal for swimming and crabbing from the jetty. 4 miles away is Compton beach, famous for dinosaur remains; go there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. There was only a 2 seat sofa, there was 3 of us ,so we took turns to sit on it. Other than that it was fine.

We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness as there were dog hairs and a half eaten dog chew in centre of the settee. We also feel the need for a freezer compartment in the fridge as have to keep getting ice from other people or the cafe. We have mentioned this before. Other than these points we enjoyed our stay.

Great location for dog owners. Lovely walks on the beach and in the country park on your doorstep. Quiet and relaxing with the cafe nearby. Also walking distance to Yarmouth with many lovely places to see and eat such as King Henry's castle and Salties. Minor detail - Could have done without cover on sofa as it kept coming off. A great place to relax and explore.
