Guests say

The Sail Loft boasts a stunning location with exceptional views across the Solent, offering a cosy and comfortable stay. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and proximity to local attractions, with many looking forward to returning. While some furnishings and appliances could benefit from updates, the charm of the property and its setting often outweigh these concerns.

The property generally receives positive remarks on cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy upon arrival. However, some noted cobwebs and dust in less-frequented areas, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its superb views and proximity to the beach and local attractions, making it a favoured spot for guests.

Guests find the apartment cosy and warm, with comfortable furniture. However, some guests mentioned issues with the beds and early morning light due to inadequate blinds, affecting the overall comfort.

While the property is appreciated for its basic amenities, several reviews cite the need for maintenance and updates on appliances, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as it pertains to gifts or extra touches provided by the host, as reviews do not consistently mention such details.

Clean spacious and comfortable - now has a mini freezer so enough storage if you are flexible. Had a wonderful time here and if you read some of the other reviews please remember this is a holiday let and you need to be a little flexible in how you use it. Mattress is bouncy and does need a memory foam topper! Hope to return next year.

The property was clean and we had a fantastic view. The things I am going to mention are not things that would spoil a stay at this property in any way they are just my personal little niggles. They are more a few things to be aware of or that could improve the property a bit. Firstly the mattress on the double bed needs to either be changed or have memory foam topper as you can feel the springs/coils a bit. The ceilings are very low at the edges (I know it's a loft so expected) but just watch your head when moving around. There could be a few more utensils in the kitchen, cheese grater, tongs, etc and the plates appear to have a metal pattern around the edge and did not appear to be microwave safe. The cooker works ok but is obviously pretty old. The fridge on the other hand needs changing as it did not get cold enough and water formed inside, maybe the seal is not tight enough. Also it is very small, with a tiny freezer space (again understandable due to space) however you cannot store much more than a small bag of chips in the freezer compartment. They do not supply towels (unusual) so remember to bring your own and if the weather is going to be hot a fan for the bedrooms is a must even with the windows open it does get rather hot. Having said all that please don't let it stop you booking this property as we did enjoy staying here. There is always something going on in the Solent and you have the perfect view. A large seal swam past very close to the beach and took a look at us much to my delight as I have never seen one so close before. It is perfect for exploring the area with some lovely trails and coastal paths that go on for miles and you can stroll along the waters edge to Yarmouth. We hardly drove anywhere as there were such lovely walks so nearby. There is also the Cafe next door which is very popular. So YES I would recommend this property. It is in such a lovely position and the things I have mentioned above are my own little niggles others would probably not even mention them.

The lounge & bedroom furniture need renewing. However it has a wonderful views of the Solent & we were lucky to have a weeks sunshine.Unfortunately the nearby cafe was closed for 5 of our 7 days.Looking at the visitor book I see many people return & this is understandable given the location.
