Perfectly positioned on a traditional sheep farm in the heart of Romney Marsh, this quaint hut offers breath taking views of the surrounding countryside and is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guests can spend their days exploring the nearby countryside on foot or bike, or simply relax in the tranquillity of the marsh, listening to the sounds of nature. For those who want to explore the wider area, there are many local attractions to visit including Port Lympe Safari Park, Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, and Godinton House & Gardens. The nearby towns of Hythe, Tenterden & Rye also make for great days out where you can explore their local High Streets that offer an array of independent shops and places to eat, or why not hop in the car and explore the stunning Kent coastline which is only 6 miles away. Step inside this charming shepherd s hut where you will find an interior that is beautifully designed to evoke a cosy and romantic feel with luxurious woollen throws and cushions created from wool from the sheep on the farm. There is a small kitchen area with a hob, fridge, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine. A folding table and chairs for dining offers an ideal spot for enjoying a romantic meal or a game of Scrabble in front of the wood burner on chilly evenings, and there is a DAB radio for some background music. The double bed sits at one end of the hut beneath dual aspect windows that offer a panoramic view over the local countryside. Start your day by sipping a morning coffee in bed whilst watching the sheep graze the fields outside. The en suite shower room has a walk in shower and WC with an electric towel rail to ensure that guests have warm fluffy towels each morning. Outside the hut there is an enclosed garden area with wooden deck chairs and there is also a picnic table for enjoying al fresco meals that you can cook with the charcoal firepit / BBQ. As you dine, enjoy watching the sheep graze in the field around you end enjoy watching the sun set over the marshes a truly unique and memorable experience. Lookerer can be booked alongside Rumwold and Romney to accommodate up to 7 guests. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 bathroom en suite with shower and WC.
