Romney Marsh itself is a haven for keen nature lovers with the rspb at Dungeness a great place for birdwatching, or for exploring the nearby beach, the largest shingle beach in Europe is classed as a desert due to its vast size. For those looking for some culinary delights, this part of Kent has much to offer with many local vineyard trails on offer and multiple farm shops selling the finest Kent produce. There are also a number of interesting local attractions nearby including the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, Willesborough Windmill, and Hole Park. Step inside this delightful shepherd s hut which is furnished with a relaxing interior of calming colours, soft throws and cushions made from local sheep wool and has been designed to offer a feeling of space and calm. There is a small kitchen area with a hob, fridge, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine. A folding table and chairs for dining offers an ideal spot for enjoying a romantic meal or a game of cards in front of the wood burner on chilly evenings, and there is a DAB radio for enjoying some music. The double bed sits at one end of the hut beneath dual aspect windows that offer a stunning view across the local countryside. Start your day by sipping a morning cup of tea in bed whilst watching the sheep graze the fields outside. The en suite shower room has a walk in shower and WC. Outside the hut there is an enclosed garden area with wooden chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the charcoal firepit / BBQ. As you enjoy a glass of something cool, enjoy watching the sun set over the marshes a truly special experience. Rumwold can be booked alongside Lookerer and Romney to accommodate up to 7 guests. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 bathroom en suite with shower and WC. Electric hob, fridge, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Welcome pack, robes and toiletries provided.
