Once inside this charming cottage, you are welcomed into the locally handcrafted oak kitchen complete with Aga, dresser and a breakfast table, perfect for informal meals or ‘helping' the cook over a glass of wine.The dining room is a large but cosy space, with inglenook corner fireplace and beautiful low beams creating an intimate environment. On the other side of the house is the library area, offering a cosy seating area and a selection of books and DVDs lining the wall-to-wall shelves. Up the steep winding stairs there are more surprises to be discovered as you arrive in the upper hallway, with leaning beams, exposed brick chimney and an internal stained glass window showing a variety of British birds to be discovered. The master bedroom holds further delights as the bed has been cleverly raised above the ancient uneven floors with the use of an oak platform. The romantic copper bath waits enticingly right next to the bed, while round the corner a fully equipped en-suite shower room, WC and washbasin are at your disposal.
