The seaside museum is well worth a visit and the Central bandstand in the town has regular and varied events throughout the week in the summer months. As well as a host of cafes, shops, pubs, restaurants and amusements on your doorstep, there nearby popular towns of Canterbury and Whitstable are within six miles, and both offer a great day out.
