Exploring is easy here, with many countryside walks for ramblers and rural lanes for cyclists to explore. The cottage is well located by car to various local places of interest including Knole House and Ightham Mote, Leeds Castle, Eltham Palace, and Eynsford's Lavender Farm (Castle Farm). Sevenoaks town centre (8 miles) has many cafes, restaurants and independent shops and Rochester with its Charles Dickens connections and Bluewater shopping centre are also close by (10.5 miles). The railway station at Borough Green and Wrotham (3 miles) provides direct services to central London and the North Kent coast with many beautiful seaside towns and stunning beaches.
The accommodation is set out over one level on the ground floor and comprises of a sitting room with two sofas and a Smart TV, and a large kitchen/diner which is very well appointed and equipped and has a dining table with seating for four. There are French doors opening onto a small terrace with countryside setting. The bedroom has a double bed, with a wardrobe and dressing table and the contemporary bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The entire property has been furnished with great care and attention to ensure that your break is a real welcoming home from home. With the Hilltop Restaurant onsite and open for pre-bookings at weekends, you will not have to look far for a weekend treat!
Accessed from the kitchen there is a small, enclosed terrace with bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink.
