Attractive stable conversion in glorious location - with great local walks.
Allens House Lodge sits on the edge of the small village of Plaxtol in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the views from the garden are absolutely wonderful. These beautifully converted stables in the grounds of the owners magnificent house, offer a respite from the hurly burly of twenty first century life as does the village itself - which still boasts a grocery store, post office, butchers, a Cromwellian church - and most vital - The Papermakers Arms - a traditional pub with roaring fires and good food. Plaxtol is situated between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge so you will have a full schedule fitting in visits to all the places of interest nearby including Ightham Mote, Knole Park, Old Soar Manor, Penshurst Place to name just a few and for the children a visit to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is an absolute must! They can build dens, find secret pathways and if they are very lucky even spot the elusive Yeti! There are also many interesting and enjoyable local walks to be had - http://plaxtol.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/plaxtol_walks3.pdf so you will really appreciate this lovely holiday home at the end of each day! If you tire of all the countryside has to offer, it is only a quick train ride from nearby Sevenoaks into the heart of London. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 0.5 mile Coast: 32 miles
